Founder and director of TBMi, embodies the American Dream—built on hard work, perseverance, and a deep commitment to giving back.

Born in Vietnam, Truong immigrated to the United States in 1993 at just 11 years old. Like many newcomers, he arrived with hope and ambition, but no clear roadmap. Without the opportunity to pursue a traditional college path, he turned to hands-on work, determined to build a better future through skill and dedication.

After being laid off from several jobs, a friend introduced him to the HVAC industry. He quickly recognized its potential and enrolled at ATI Career Training, where he earned a 4.0 GPA and a place on the Dean’s List—an early sign of the determination that would define his career.

Truong began his journey as a service technician at Carrollton Air Conditioning, where he gained vital hands-on experience and a deeper appreciation for the trade. He went on to join Refrigerated Specialist Inc., continuing to sharpen his expertise His commitment to excellence led him to earn a Master CFESA certification in commercial refrigeration, marking him as a standout in the industry. 

Driven by ambition and a desire to create something of his own, Truong founded DN Mechanical. Though the business succeeded, differences with a partner led to its closure. The experience, however, proved invaluable. Shortly after, he accepted a prestigious role as the refrigeration manager for the Dallas Cowboys Stadium—one of the most high-profile facilities in the country.

While working at the stadium, Truong began laying the groundwork for what would become his most meaningful venture: TBMi. Founded with a mission to deliver top-quality HVAC and refrigeration services, TBMi reflects Truong’s core values—integrity, craftsmanship, and community impact.

To extend that impact, TBMi established the B&L Foundation, a charitable initiative supporting both local communities and Truong’s homeland in Vietnam.

Today, Truong leads TBMi with the same heart, discipline, and vision that have guided him since day one—transforming a personal journey into a company built on pride, purpose, and service.

My  journey started back in 1989, when I was about 11, on a small boat with my father in the wide open sea. I was lucky to survive and landed in Galang Indonesia Camp. I lived on that island untill 1995, when I was forced back to Vietnam. In 2004, I was one of the lucky few who, against all odds, came to the United States. I was in San Diego when my professional career began. With no English, I started at Micro Probe as a alignment tech. After 2 years in that role I had the opportunity to become a machinist at CNC Lathe, allowing me to relocated to Texas. Like many Vietnamese immigrates, we all have the mindset of becoming our own boss. That's why I started TL Home Remodeling. With a mindset not just to make money but to truly help people, I was able to grow my company successfully.  While running the business I also worked for Airtron Air Conditioning. As a remodeling company owner I wanted to learn everything I could about my clients’ needs. Soon after learning about AC I fell in love with the work. I realized that air conditioning is not a luxury, but an essential part of living. With the opportunity to grow in the AC business, I pursued getting HVAC certified  and became a licensed contractor.  By blessing, I one day I met Truong. We clicked. The rest is history. Now, as partners  in TBMi with a shared mindset to pass our work on to the next generations to come, we dedicated to building not just a brand of great customer service, HVAC, and refrigeration. We also believe the future is something we can be proud of. Lets continue to believe in our work today for a better tomorrow.

I’m Richard M Brite account manager for TBMi since 2023. My past experiences in the workforce, spanning over 40 years, have been a phenomenal journey. Throughout my career I have achieved multiple levels of accomplishments. I began working at AVM as a shop foreman, then became a building maintenance engineer at Trinity Interests. I later joined Hitachi Semiconductor as a facilities operations technician. From there I joined Atmel Corporation as facilities operation manager, and then to  STMicroelectronics as a manager. All of that experience gave me the opportunity to become maintenance manager at AT&T Cowboys Stadium. Throughout the years with the Cowboys, I learned the art of preventive maintenance and how to foresee what could happen before it became a problem. After I retired from AT&T Cowboys Stadium, I was given an opportunity to share my experience with TBMi. Why TBMi? At first I chose to work with TBMi simply to stay active during retirement. But after working with the people at TBMi, I found it was no longer just about avoiding boredom. TBMi is more than just a company that services residential and commercial clients. It is a company driven by a passion to do what’s right. Through the leadership at TBMi, I have learned how to offer the best solution for clients and how to learn about their needs. The mission to care for the community and to do good for future generations has given me the passion to work beyond the basic scope of duties for the trust and love of our community.

First of all my name Ethan Bui. I am a first generation immigrant who came to the United States in 1987. My years in the US military have taught me how to achieve what I want.  It's simple: put your heart in to what you do and have a plan. Achieving it is the easy part.

I  enjoy singing, reading, movies, eating, and experiencing new things.  I've been an instructor over 20 yrs in the sales industry. Within that 20 yrs I have taught hundreds the art of sales. I enjoy teaching and love to see students makes life-impacting changes with the education that I shared.  I’m also in the financial industry with over 8 years' experience in banking and helping my clients achieve their financial goals. I joined TBMi in 2024. Because of the vision and mission of our leaders, I have been given the great honor to be a part of the company. Within my specialty of account management and training, I would like to dedicate my experiences to building and growing TBMi. I have learned that we have to work hard and be passionate about what we do to serve our clients. Success is only a matter of time.
